Experience
Madison Walser is a comedian, writer, and producer originally from Texas, now based in Los Angeles. Her observational style pulls from dating, politics, religion, and the general chaos of being a woman with “too many” opinions. Her unique humor often discusses why social norms are kind of weird and incorporates a dark twang.
Madison co-created and produced the Heated Rivalry Comedy Show and hosts Doctor Walser, a podcast where she and her dad turn uncomfortable medical conversations into surprisingly comfortable ones. She recently founded a company, PUTRE, to help audiences discover film, TV, and stand-up from indie creators. She has been featured in CNN, WSJ, and NY Mag for her satirical work.
The other half of my résumé is heavy business. I've spent years working with major studios and entertainment companies on the technology, databases, and financial data that run them: finance and studio analytics, cyber security, and the full software development lifecycle as both a project manager and a builder, including consulting for Fortune 500 entertainment companies. So I know how corporate structures work. I think most of them are antiquated.
I live at the intersection of tech, film, culture and comedy, and I build things that sit there. I'm drawn to cultural movements before they're obvious, and to changing the structures we operate inside. Mostly I like bringing structure to creative work and humor to business, and proving the two were never opposites.
